I had struggled with my singing for a while, and thought i was losing what talent i had. I bought this book to see if it would help me a little. It is maybe the second or the third of its kind i have bought over the years, so i didn't have my hopes too high. Well, it helped me SO MUCH. My voice has improved so much in a short time. I have really stretched my vocal cords using her techniques. I actually really enjoyed the whole process, and no longer feel like my singing talent is dwindling. My voice is getting stronger. I love the exercises and particularly the breathing techniques.

Alison Huntley is currently a Graduate Assistant at WIU pursuing a Master's Degree in Choral Conducting. Previously, Alison graduated from WIU in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Choral Music Education and Vocal Performance, and then spent a year teaching K-12 General Music and Choir. Miss Huntley is active with the University Singers, Madrigal Singers, and Opera Theatre.
If your child loves to sing, you probably knew it before they could talk. While you should always encourage singing, most children under the age of 7 generally don't have the focus or patience needed for formal singing lessons. With persistence and motivation some kids have learned to play sing at some impressively young ages, but it really comes down to is the individual attitude and maturity level of the student.

I am taking the bluegrass singing course and I find it excellent.Easy to follow, starts where it should and has a huge range of challenge in the one course.If I could I'd quit my job and study it all day.The video feedback is an excellent addendum and I'd recommend this to anyone even a seasoned player just wanting to sharpen up. My passion is singing and I am pursuing a Master’s degree in classical vocal performance at the Mannes School of Music. It is very important to have daily practice so that the techniques learned in lessons are retained. Regularity is more valuable than duration, especially at the beginning of taking lessons. Practice time can range based on the level of the student from 15 minutes to 3 hours a day. Our teachers will work with students to come up and recommend a practice schedule for students.
Trained as a classical pianist, I used to moonlight playing popular songs I heard on the radio and would hide it from my teacher. Nowadays, I ask my students what would like they to play and pick one or two songs that they like so they can practice. I don't mind if my student plays a Chopin Nocturne and then a blues/ jazz song. It's to create combination using all sides of the brain and engage students in making music.

The greatest thing about this audiobook for me is that I have a tween-aged grandson who is an aspiring singer/vocalist. He's never had a lesson or been in choir yet he has a naturally perfect pitch. When he stays over, I listen to him sing the National Anthem and America the Beautiful over and over again and I'm just in awe as to where this boy gets ... full review
Tyler Demaree is currently a senior Choral Music Education Major at Western Illinois University. Before transferring to Western Illinois University, Tyler was a Music Education major at Southwestern College and is now finishing his Music Education degree at Western. Tyler was born and raised in Winfield, Kansas and moved to Macomb this year to attend Western Illinois Univeristy. He has participated in various top ensembles at Emporia State University, Southwestern College and now at Western Illinois University in University Singers and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Tyler has a passion for teaching singers with the ideals and terminology of Estill Voice Training while working towards certification in EVT. Mr. Demaree is also a member of the National Association for Music Education and the American Choral Directors Association.
