My passion is singing and I am pursuing a Master’s degree in classical vocal performance at the Mannes School of Music. My voice teachers have greatly impacted my life and my goal is to inspire my students in a similar way. I have acquired many different tools for teaching through my studies and teaching experience. Everyone has a unique voice and learning style and I tailor my teaching to each individual.
Dallas’ music scene has retained its local flavor and relevance with more modern acts like ‘psychobilly’ pioneer Reverend Horton Heat, Erykah Badu, the Old 97’s, indie rock staple Toadies, and metal kings Pantera. Denton, a northern satellite of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, boasts its own odd Austin-like vibe as a ‘music town’ with a strong local music scene that exists firmly on its own but also contributes directly to Dallas’ own scene. Additionally, one of the leading collegiate Music programs in the country can be found in Denton at the University of North Texas. Taylor Robinson Music Lessons has a strong core of instructors throughout the DFW Metroplex, always ready and willing to teach and help shape students into the musicians they hope to become. Some Music Lessons we teach in the area are Music Lessons Dallas, Dallas Piano Lessons, guitar lessons Dallas, Drum Lessons Dallas, and Voice Lessons Dallas. We can also provide a Dallas Vocal Coach
Dallas is home to a wide variety of music venues, ranging widely in both styles of music (hip-hop and R&B, indie rock, country, electronic, whatever you’re looking for) as well as size, with hole-in-the-wall bars and clubs, intimate converted venues such as the Kessler and Granada Theater, mid-range venues like Trees, the Southside Ballroom, and even gigantic stadium venues such as Nokia theater, the American Airlines Center, and Gexa Energy Pavilion.
Isabel is very professional and fun to work with. In our first few lessons, we worked on solidifying some basic fundamentals of singing (proper breathing, posture, etc.) and have since moved on to some simple songs/arias. She is a wonderful teacher for beginners like me, but with her skill level, I can see her as being an exceptional teacher for more advanced students as well.
My experience in singing begins in 2005 in a youth chorus of my city in Mérida Venezuela. I started singing and vocal technique studies in that group, I sang some choral symphonies and I won prizes in my country of origin. Then in 2008 it became part of the Cantoria de Mérida group that allows me to deepen my knowledge in the area of academic singing. I received singing lessons with teachers who in turn received their training in Europe specifically in Catalonia Spain. There I made a number of symphonic choral productions and toured certain countries in Latin America and Europe represented Venezuela and in 2013 it won prizes a ... View Profile

e singing lessons but Milton came in with a positive attitude. Milton is very friendly, funny, professional and always enthusiastic when asking questions about music. I use to be very shy, "never want to sing in front of people" type of girl, but ever since I started lessons with him, I sing all the time in front of people, starting to perform on stage, built A LOT of confidence, and found what type of musician I am. All the things he teaches me is VERY USEFUL, I apply everything we learn to my music and it has made a huge difference. I've come to learn that the tiniest things count! I highly recommend him and you'll have the best time!"

It all starts with our experienced and talented instructors - we were picky about our recruiting because we know that when you come to Guitar Center for lessons, you expect world-class expertise from your mentor. Our vocal instructors are extremely well-qualified, and we're proud to say they're very good at what they do. There's no better way to learn vocal technique than to study it with somebody who's walked the walk and knows exactly what it takes to succeed.
If you're wondering, "Am I a good singer?", you may be tempted to get advice and input from the Internet via one of the many "rate my voice" type of websites. Here, Liz T. explains the pros and cons of going this route... Many singers are curious to know what kind of feedback they'll receive if they post a video or clip of themselves singing on a rate my voice website, such as midomi.com, singist.com, and even YouTube. The Diva Method is excellent- every video contains material gained from years of research, passion, and experience with all genres and voices. Literally after one week my voice sounded better and I braved a big song at a campfire! Then was asked to join my church worship team- maybe a silly dream, but a dream of mine for sure! A year and a half later, I still warm up with these videos and am still growing. The number one joy is that I have so much more freedom in my voice than ever before. Jeannie is (was) such an artist she really has a way of bringing you out from behind all your head trips, building your physiology, and oh my goodness- I can sing in front of people as well as I could by myself. I sing at church three Sundays a month getting great leads and solos and harmonies. Brava Jeannie and thank you!
