My teaching approach: I tailor my lessons to fit the students goals. Beginner students want to learn songs, not theory. So I get the student playing /singing before I focus on scales and theory. I want to teach the student what they want to learn as well as giving them the skills to be a good musician/vocalist. Trained as a classical pianist, I used to moonlight playing popular songs I heard on the radio and would hide it from my teacher. Nowadays, I ask my students what would like they to play and pick one or two songs that they like so they can practice. I don't mind if my student plays a Chopin Nocturne and then a blues/ jazz song. It's to create combination using all sides of the brain and engage students in making music.

Currently we have five voice teachrs on staff! The gamut of most msucial styles is covered quite well so that we can offer a teacher who is best suited to your msuical style and taste. The basic techniques of proepr singing are universal and all of our teachers are great at teaching beginners. Advanced student who have developed a solid technique may want to work with a teacher on a particular musical style, msuciality, expression, and perforamance presence. It is great to have the option to work with several teachers. 
If your child loves to sing, you probably knew it before they could talk. Younger students will also find the piano lesson addition to be very valuable.  Advanced vocal technique can't fully be addressed and taught unless the voice has matured so the technical portion of the lesson in younger children is limited. By learning to play an instrument simultaneously students get the opportunity to development musicianship and musical understanding in tandem with their vocal training.  Besides, all of the modern observations about the benefits of learning music have been observed on those who were playing an instrument and reading notes....and who wouldn't want that for their child?     
Many 4-year-olds love to sing, but they likely lack the focus for formal voice lessons. Your 4-year-old can participate in the Little Wing music program to learn fundamental concepts through fun, dynamic musical activities.
Singing isn't easy, especially if you want to do it well, but Siv's book is just such a great help. He gives detailed information not only on singing in tune but also on breathing, tone, and warmups. His suggestions are thoughtful and definitely work, and are an ideal place to start for a beginner like me. I'm so excited about singing and so happy that I have all the help I need, right from this book!

It is very important to have daily practice so that the techniques learned in lessons are retained. Regularity is more valuable than duration, especially at the beginning of taking lessons. Practice time can range based on the level of the student from 15 minutes to 3 hours a day. Our teachers will work with students to come up and recommend a practice schedule for students.
Artist works provides an amazing format. A student can spend hours going through the curriculum and practising in a systematic way. The curriculum makes sense; it builds progressively from foundational lessons to lessons that are more elaborate. There are guests and additional material from festivals added regularly. The opportunity to converse and demonstrate one's skill level with the Musicians / teachers is invaluable. In my experience both Michael Dave's and Bryan Sutton are incredibly engaging, attentive to detail, supportive, and just generally awesome people to exchange videos with and to learn from.

I love teaching Salsa because I certainly know it would bring happiness to my students. I always teach to my students to understand the rhythm and the music of what they are dancing, I teach them to listen, so they can afterwards without any doubt fall in to the rhythm without any problem.  In my experience Salsa saved me a couple of times from quiting school, it took me to Europe and was the reason of meeting friends for life, family.  I studied 2 years Jazz and Tap in Mexico.
